Preserving a life, on film
A life, told the way it deserves to be told.
We film honest, unhurried conversations with the people you love, and turn them into a documentary your family will watch for generations.
Why we do this
Because someday, all that’s left is what we didn’t ask.
Memories fade. Details blur with time, and the stories that once felt unforgettable can slip away if no one captures them. A photograph shows a moment. A film can hold a voice, a laugh, a way of remembering that no photograph ever could.
Framing Memories is for the people whose stories deserve to be told, and just as much for the families who want to hold on to them — a parent celebrating a milestone birthday, a grandparent in the later chapters of life, a loved one whose story hasn’t yet been put into words.
What you get
A film built entirely around one person’s story
- A relaxed, guided interview — never rehearsed, never rushed
- Filmed wherever they’re comfortable: at home, in a care facility, or in our studio
- Complete self-determination — they decide what to share, and what stays private
- Photos and keepsakes woven into the film, with subtle animation
- A carefully edited, feature-quality documentary — not a raw recording
- A private film, delivered only to your family, never posted publicly
How it works
Three steps, at their pace
- We get to know your story. A first conversation, no obligation, to understand who they are and what matters most.
- We come to you and film. A calm, respectful interview, wherever they feel most themselves.
- We craft the film. Carefully edited into a documentary made to be watched again and again.
Investment
Price on request
Every family’s story is different — the length of the interview, the amount of material, and the length of the final film all vary. Because of that, we don’t publish fixed prices. We start with a free, no-obligation conversation, and follow up with a personal quote tailored to your family.
- An initial conversation to get to know your story and your wishes
- A personal, professionally filmed interview at your chosen location
- Careful editing, with photos and subtle animation woven in
- A draft review before the film is finalized
- Private delivery of your finished film

Excerpts
From the families we’ve already filmed
Every family’s story is different, and most of the films we create stay exactly where they belong — with the family who commissioned them, never published anywhere. Every so often, with a family’s explicit permission, we’re able to share a short excerpt here.
“The right moment is usually earlier than you think.”
You don’t have to wait until it feels urgent. Some of the most honest films are made on an ordinary afternoon, with nothing to prove.
